Go Ape Rivington
Go Ape is an aerial assault course suspended high in the trees, the company website
described the experience as a ‘high-wire forest adventure’. There are twenty Go
Ape “Adventures “ currently in the United Kingdom and each centre features around five
parks , a park usually consists of around four to five obstacles and culminates in a Zip line
descent. As you progress through the course the obstacles tend to get more challenging and
the height and length of the zip line increases.

During your time in the tree tops you are fastened to a secure steel cable ( although You are
responsible for your own safety) these is achieved using basic climbing equipment as long

Go Ape (Rivington)
Rivington is hailed as Chorley’s mini lake district with its picturesque reservoirs and rugged
hills which makes it a perfect location for Go Ape.
Go Ape is a high wire forest adventure activity, guaranteed to get the adrenaline pumping.
The obstacle courses take place high in the trees giving tranquil views of the surrounding
area and its natural beauty. It is an adventure packed day for all participants.
The obstacle course consists of zip wires, walkways and bridges which stretch from tree
to tree, and also tunnels made from wood. It is a full days activity as it can take up to four
hours to complete the course. This particular obstacle course consists of the longest zip line
at 198 metres long.
Facilities are available at the site, these include a place to get something to eat and drink, a
gift shop, toilets, parking which is limited, a minibus with a group of friends would be ideal.
Go ape is ideal for anyone families, birthday party events or even hen parties or bachelor
parties.
Go Ape (Delamere)
Located about twenty to thirty minutes just outside of Manchester city centre, The Go Ape
welcome centre is situated just on the edge of the forest and the obstacles pass directly over
the heads of some public foot paths, there are a total of five parks on site.

Go Ape Buxton is located in the heart of the Peak District National Park, It is possible
to walk to the centre of the town. This Go Ape Adventure features a really high final
obstacle that is over twenty metres high (60 Feet) and an incredible hundred and fifty
nine metre zip line that’s over four hundred and fifty feet long
